Belinda chuckled softly to herself, watching as Fenric began dozing off but fighting to stay awake. “Just give in and sleep already- you’re surrounded by people who have already saved your unconscious ass once- you can trust us to keep you and Colette safe and alive if anything happens while you’re asleep, you know.” She murmured, smiling faintly.

Isaac blinked. Shit…. Am I really that obvious? Then….. Isabella might know too. Oh Gods! His face paled a shade and he met Colette’s gaze. “N-No…..” he stammered uneasily. “I’m, uh……” he looked away trying to focus on anything besides the conversation at hand. “I’m not good at talking to people in general…… let alone a girl like Isabella……” he trailed off, fighting the color rising in his cheeks.

                                               ~^*^~
Ryan
Reegan laughed as Isabella blushing at him swatting her. “I did indeed, you have a cute butt, and you left it open. If you did that in a real fight, you pry would have lost it, if not your life. Now, come on again, let us see if you can hurt me shall we?” Reegan stepped back into Isabella, swinging his sticks so as to keep her on the defensive.

                                                     ~^*^~
Nat
Isabella danced around, now defending herself from Reegan’s sticks rather than being on the offensive and making him dance in circles. Seeing what she thought was an opening to switch their roles again, putting him on the defensive, she jabbed at him, missing as he dodged her easily and swatted her backside again.
She yelped softly, startled, then turned and plunged her sword at his chest, assuming he would dodge it.
To her surprise, he spread his arms, opening himself up and letting the sword go straight through him.
“Wh- Oh gods!” Isabella’s eyes widened and she pulled her sword out quickly, wiping the blood off sloppily on her pants. “I’m so sorry, I-… I thought you would dodge that! Why did you let me stab you!?” she cried, staring at the hole in his chest even as it healed before her eyes.

                                                     ~^*^~
Ryan
Reegan snickered as the hole in his chest healed. “Well, I wanted to see how you would react to stabbing someone, feeling the blade actually sinking into a man’s chest. I wanted to see if you could handle it.” Reegan tossed the sticks to the side, and turned back towards Isabella. “Honestly, you did what I expected of you, and freaked out slightly. Come on then, put those away and come sit and chat with me?” Reegan walked over to his evat and sat down in the shade, motioning for Isabella to join him.

                                                     ~^*^~
Nat
Hesitantly, Isabella sheathed her swords and followed him, sitting a fair distance away, but still in the shade of the evat. “Of course I freaked out when I stabbed you- you’re on my side. Give me a demon or an enemy of some kind to stab and I won’t freak out.” She snapped in mock anger, but couldn’t keep from smiling and chuckling softly. “So what are we over here to chat about?” She asked, looking up to meet his gaze.

                                                     ~^*^~
Ryan
Reegan looked out over the water from under the shade of the evat. “Nothing in particular, but we haven’t actually gotten a chance to talk with each other that much. At least, nothing fun, or interesting; Just depressing stuff like demons, and fighting and powers. So, care to share something about your past?”

                                                     ~^*^~
Nat
Isabella glanced away, looking at the tree line, then her watch, and finally out over the ocean. “I-….. I don’t know……. There’s not a lot of happy things to talk about in my past, really. And being as old as you are, I can assume you’ve met with your fair share of depressing troubles, so why would I want to pile mine on top of yours?” she asked, shrugging. “The only fun things I’ve ever really done would seem boring to most people- like working at the clinic with Jon and my Da…. That was my idea of fun- getting to be around animals all day, and fix up the sick ones so they could go back to making their families happy…..” she smiled faintly. “I’ve always gotten along better with animals than people anyway….”

                                                     ~^*^~
Ryan
Reegan nodded. “I understand, animals are usually better than people. That’s why my only friend is Mirri. She is a much better companion and friend than any person I have met, which is kind of sad if you think about it. I have been alive for sixty-ish years, and I haven’t had a friend since I left earth.” Reegan shook his head quickly, as if trying to get the thought out of his head. “Regardless, this is honestly the most time I have spent around people in a while, so it’s kind of hard getting used to it again, hence why I asked you to chat with me. Otherwise, I would just sit here alone thinking or tinkering with something, so thanks for sitting with me.” Reegan looked back up to Isabella.

                                                     ~^*^~
Nat
Isabella shrugged. “Well it’s the least I can do- after all, you’re helping us save the planets, and you seem like a really great guy. I mean you ran toward screaming and stabbed a demon in the face without flinching.” She laughed softly. “In my book that makes you pretty cool- and….” She hesitated a moment, glancing at him then away again. “I’m glad you decided to come along. As much as it’s neat to know Allison has a strange power like we do too- she doesn’t exactly come across as the most friendly or talkative person…..” she chuckled uneasily, scratching at the back of her neck. “So… It’s nice to know there’s someone in a similar situation that I can talk to about it without feeling like some kind of freak.”

                                                     ~^*^~
Ryan
Reegan smiled listening to Isabella talk. “Meh, I see no reason to feel like a freak, since you know, everyone is unique in their own way. We are just a bit more so than others.” Reegan shrugged. “Oh, yea, something funny I thought of, you seem very reserved for someone who is half Ina’Red. Is that cause you were raised by only one parent, or do you just kind of ignore the ‘free spirit’ side of you.”

                                                     ~^*^~
Nat
Isabella wrinkled her nose, laughing softly, “’free spirit’ side, huh?” she shook her head. “I wasn’t quite raised by just one parent- my mom was around until a few years ago…. She died of some cancer-like disease. It made her sick for years, but the doctors couldn’t find any trace of it til after she was dead. So, I suppose I crushed the ‘free spirit’ side of me when I decided to become the responsible one in the family. Da doesn’t show it when he’s working like he was when everyone showed up, but he’s really just an overgrown child. Easily upset, easily wounded, has a bleeding heart for every just cause in the universe….” She chuckled, shaking her head. “And Jon’s more fragile than he lets on. Mom’s death really got to him- he was her favorite, since she never wanted daughters to begin with, and so she gave him everything he ever wanted while still managing to teach him manners and how to be a decent member of society. I gave up my after school activities and… well, everything really to go straight home every day just to make sure they stayed alive….” She shook her head. “Then again I was never much of a ‘free spirit’ to begin with.” She laughed, “I’ve always been more reserved than most people- especially on the Ina’Red side of my family.”
